How do you brand a whole town? And one as charming and off the beaten path as Chester Vermont?
That was the question on the table as I set out to design a new website for the businesses of Chester Vermont, that would help the small businesses around town warn of a disruptive bridge closing, which would seriously impact local area businesses. The logo typeface and some of the illustrations are influenced by 1950′s era travel brochures about the town of Chester.
I also drew illustrations of some of the town’s most important buildings, including the large train depot featured on the left.
